This Hebridean voyage embodies the essence of slow travel, offering an immersive journey through Scotland’s remote landscapes, culture, and wildlife. The journey’s main goal is to reach the remote St Kilda archipelago, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where we may anchor in Village Bay on the island of Hirta and endeavour to put you ashore. We will also cruise around Boreray and its stacks, home to the second-largest colony of Northern Gannets in the world. If the weather is really against us, we may opt instead to explore other infrequently visited islands, such as the Shiants. The exact itinerary is determined by local conditions and is always at the discretion of the skipper. Each day promises encounters with iconic seabirds, including puffins and shearwaters, and chances to spot cetaceans like dolphins and Minke whales. With anchorages in sheltered bays and shore walks by day, this flexible itinerary, led by Chris, provides incredible photo opportunities and insights into Scotland's secluded natural wonders.
