Mosquera Islet

Geography

Mosquera Islet is a flat, sandy strip of land located between Baltra Island and North Seymour.

Significance

This small, sandy island is known for its large population of sea lions and its excellent snorkelling and swimming opportunities.

Attractions

The islet is one of the best places in the Galapagos to observe sea lion behaviour up close.

Activities

It’s also a good spot for watching shorebirds and occasional sightings of orcas off the coast.
