Pass the spectacular glacier front of Cross Bay. Then land at Ny-Ålesund. One of the world’s northernmost settlements, sitting at around 79°N on the shores of Kongsfjorden in northwest Spitsbergen. Once a coal-mining community and a base for pioneering Arctic airship expeditions, today it is an important international centre for Arctic scientific research. Expedition ships visit for its fascinating polar history, colourful buildings, surrounding mountains and glaciers, and abundant birdlife.

The highest deck on the ship, offering panoramic outdoor viewing areas and the Bridge. Home to the ship's most spacious suites, it provides the best views and a quiet retreat for guests.

Deck 6 Heritage Discoverer

Deck 6 – Observation & Wellness Deck

The social heart of the ship, featuring the Panoramic Lounge, Conference Room, Wellness Area, Outdoor Grill and Jacuzzis. Designed for relaxation, lectures and enjoying the scenery between excursions.

Deck 5 Heritage Discoverer

Deck 5 – Lounge & Balcony Deck

A welcoming guest deck combining accommodation with key public spaces. Guests will find the Grand Salon, Boutique and access to La Passerelle, alongside a selection of Balcony Cabins and suites.

Deck 4 Heritage Discoverer

Deck 4 – Dining & Fitness Deck

Centred around the Explorers' Restaurant and Fitness Area, this deck combines dining, wellness and accommodation. Most Deluxe and Premium Cabins are located here, making it one of the ship's primary residential decks.

Deck 3 Heritage Discoverer

Deck 3 – Expedition Deck

The operational hub for expedition activities, featuring Reception, the Expedition Office and Medical Centre. Ocean Cabins and Premium Cabins are located on this deck, providing convenient access to expedition briefings and embarkation activities.
