Playa Herradura

Geography

Playa Herradura is situated about 4 miles north of Jacó and approximately 56 miles from San José, making it easily accessible for both day trips and longer stays.

"Herradura" means "horseshoe" in Spanish, and the beach is named after its horseshoe-shaped bay. The bay provides calm, protected waters ideal for swimming and water sports.

Significance

Los Sueños Marina at Playa Herradura is primarily a luxury marina catering to yachts and smaller luxury cruises. It's located near the popular beach town of Jaco.
