Gold Harbour

Geography

A spectacular bay surrounded by hanging glaciers and cliffs, Gold Harbour boasts a beautiful golden beach which is teeming with wildlife, from which it derives its name.

The site is a microcosm of South Georgia's ecological diversity, offering one of the most intense wildlife experiences on the island, set against a backdrop of the dramatic Bertrab Glacier.
