Karen has abundant experience in expedition, polar, and adventure travel and can assist you with your travel plans. She has worked for many years in expedition, arranging the perfect trips for her clients and has been a regular visitor to the polar regions herself. Karen has a deep sense of adventure and has experienced some of the most awe-inspiring places on Earth, from kayaking alongside porpoising penguins in the Antarctic to observing humpback whale flukes as part of the Happy Whale project.

Natalya Getman

Natalya (Expedition Expert & Writer)

Natalya is based in Buenos Aires and has a wealth of experience in polar and expedition sales and support. She is also an accomplished writer and editor. Natalya has a deep love for the polar regions, which led her to the world of expedition cruises, where she worked with dozens of expedition operators to guide hundreds of explorers to their ideal adventures. As a writer, I try to immerse readers in the destination and inspire them to embark on their adventures. At ExplorEarth, she combines her experience in expedition cruises and writing. Danielle (Sales Expert and Content Manager)

Danielle is based in the UK and is an award-winning blogger, having embarked on ninety sailings since 2007 and travelled around the world twice! Having worked in the cruise industry for over a decade, Danielle has settled firmly into the expedition and small-ship adventure sector. She is highly passionate about the culturally and historically important destinations that can be visited alongside incredible wildlife.

Jon is a co-founder of ExplorEarth and a multi-award-winning digital creative director. He brings over a decade of travel-tech experience in design and online performance. Jon oversees the platform's technical and innovative development and manages our in-house team of developers. A keen triathlete, he also competes and coaches nationally and internationally.

Jos Dewing FRGS (Founder & CEO)

Jos is co-founder & CEO of ExplorEarth and has worked for ship operators/owners, specialist tour operators, and travel agents for over twenty years. Growing up on the beach with a pro-scuba diver father, he was connected to the ocean from a young age. He has since focused a career in the marine/cruise industry in diverse roles, most recently as Managing Director of a leading expedition cruise company. Jos is a Fellow of the Royal Geographic Society in London and an Antarctic Ambassador for IAATO.

Ahmed Tumia (Developer)

Bristol-based Ahmed is a First-Class Honours (1st) degree alumni of the University of Exeter (MSci Computer Science) and is now the lead Software Developer at ExplorEarth. He's pretty amazing, too! Ahmed is part of our core team and helps us lead the tech of the website. He recently returned from hiking in the wildernesses of Eastern Europe, and he has some fascinating developments coming for the site.
