Bistro 487 on Deck 7 provides an alternative dining option with selections from the main menu, healthy choices, and all-day light snacks. Early riser breakfasts, afternoon tea, and late-night bites are also available. While mealtimes may shift to accommodate landings and wildlife encounters, guests can always count on three delicious meals a day, prepared to the highest standards.

The culinary team caters to a wide range of dietary needs, including vegetarian and gluten-free, with menus clearly labelled and most special requests accommodated when arranged in advance. Guests can enjoy complimentary standard beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails during bar service hours and dinner, with premium options available at an additional cost.

Ultramarine offers a variety of inviting spaces designed for relaxation, learning and connection throughout your voyage. Expansive observation areas and outer decks provide breathtaking vantage points for wildlife watching and admiring the polar landscapes. Comfortable indoor spaces offer warmth and quiet between adventures. Whether you’re unwinding after an excursion, sharing the day’s highlights with fellow travellers, or simply taking in the scenery, the ship’s well-designed public areas ensure there’s always a welcoming spot to make the most of your time on board.

On Deck 7 forward, the Panorama Lounge & Bar is used for special functions and events, and is a comfortable spot to relax and enjoy panoramic polar views. You can also grab a cup of complimentary coffee or tea here. On Deck 7 aft, Bistro 487 is a light-filled space to enjoy a snack either inside or out on deck.

Observation Decks

The promenade deck wrapping around Deck 5 of Ultramarine is generally open for viewing wildlife and enjoying the open ocean. The ship’s outer decks offer plenty of open space and are accessible at any time (unless weather/sea conditions deem it unsafe).

The Tundra spa is located on Deck 7, where you can take advantage of the services offered in calming spaces with panoramic views. Spa treatments and massages are bookable on board. The steam room is available for you to relax and rejuvenate after a hike or a workout. The sauna provides ample space to warm up with views to the icy waters of the Polar Regions.

Gym

The gym on Ultramarine offers a range of fitness equipment in a bright, well-maintained space, allowing guests to stay active while enjoying their polar voyage. The gym is located on Deck 7.

Located on Deck 7, the library offers a large collection of field guides, picture books and reference books. The library also includes a selection of games for your entertainment. The Ultramarine collection contains books in multiple languages covering subjects like wildlife, history, marine biology, ecology and geology.
