Natalya Getman

Natalya is a startup consultant and travel writer. Her love for polar regions led her to the world of expedition cruises. She has worked with dozens of expedition providers and helped hundreds of travellers find their perfect polar expedition. Before joining the travel industry, she was a journalist writing travelogues, covering cultural events and interviewing international artists.

Natalya strongly believes that visiting new places and exploring new cultures is critical to creating a more understanding and compassionate world. She has always been committed to positively impacting society by promoting sustainable tourism and culture.

Driven by her passion for travel and care for the environment, she pursued a master’s degree in Tourism Development and Culture from the University of Glasgow. She created a digital nomad community and helped aspiring digital nomads worldwide take their first steps on their nomadic journey.

During her travels, Natalya loves to learn fun etymological facts. She speaks 4 languages and aspires to learn as many as she can. She dreams about having a dog one day, but she has moved from one country to another and can’t imagine settling anywhere.
