1). OUR SERVICES

ExplorEarth is a trading name of:

Travel Navigator Limited
The Coach House
127 Hampton Road
BS6 6JE Bristol
United Kingdom

ExplorEarth does not directly operate cruises, ships or holidays. The operators of these cruises, ships, and holidays are our preferred and approved partners, whose information is listed on this site. Our partners are cruise operators, tour operators, travel professionals, agents and resellers. Our site is designed to match the interests and requirements of our travel seekers with the best companies to book them with. These companies will then book your travel, and your agreement will be with them; you will also pay them directly, and we will never ask you for money.

2). OUR REFERRAL SERVICE & LIABILITIES

ExplorEarth offers a matching service for our users. We match the way our users engage with our website and complete our enquiry forms with the products and services of our partners. As we are a matching service, not a principal operator or bonded agent, our liability has significant limitations.

Using our enquiry forms and website, you fully agree to these limitations and accept the application of English law to govern any matters arising between ExplorEarth and yourself. By submitting our enquiry forms, you agree to ExplorEarth sharing your details with the matched travel partner. We will only share your details with multiple partners if you make numerous enquiries that return different matches within our matching system.
ExplorEarth does not accept any liability for or guarantee the quality and standard of any cruises, ships or operators displayed on its website or that you are subsequently sold by those featured operators you are connected with via our platform.

ExplorEarth is not liable for any injury and/or damage to persons or property occurring during or because of any cruise trip booked due to enquiries and connections made through the website.

3). YOUR BOOKING

We are not an agent for cruise operators and do not act as tour operators, arrangers, or travel organisers. The sole focus of ExplorEarth.com is to inspire, engage and connect you with our preferred and approved partners, who will then complete your contract and booking if you choose to proceed with them. There is no obligation on your part, having enquired with our partners through our platform, to book.

We provide information about the operators and travel organisers available to you and the destinations they visit to give you the best choice. Then, you can proceed to make a booking directly with them. As such, your travel contract will be with the operator and not ExplorEarth, meaning you should check the operator's terms and conditions before booking to ensure that they meet your requirements.

4). SUSTAINABLE TRAVEL

ExplorEarth takes sustainable travel and responsible partnerships seriously. We only work with operators with a proven track record in sustainable travel arrangements. However, we encourage you to ask questions when booking to ensure that your preferred company meets your expectations in its sustainability approach and programme.

We have developed categories focused on the sustainable approaches of our ships and their operators to make searching for more responsible operators easier for our users. However, ExplorEarthis is not liable for the delivery of your cruise with our preferred partners. This contract is between you and the ship's operator, not ExplorEarth. Delivery is governed solely by your agreement with that specific ship operator or principle agent. Without limitation, ExplorEarth is not liable for any injury and/or damage to persons or property during or because of any cruise booked due to enquiries made to our preferred partners through the ExplorEarth platform.

ExplorEarth will contact you to ensure that you are satisfied with the product and service of our preferred partner and will provide feedback on any issues. We recommend that you raise any issues directly with the partner. We will send you a survey after your initial enquiry and when you return from your trip.
The ExplorEarth team is passionate about sustainable and net-positive travel by ship. We aim to ensure that all our preferred partners abide by the policies they claim to follow. However, we cannot guarantee this and do not claim that their information is accurate. In the unlikely event that our users alert us to any breach of expected practice around sustainability claims by our partners, we will review the situation, and if we are not satisfied with any response, we will remove them from our platform until the issue is resolved to our satisfaction.

5). PROTECTION

Most ExplorEarth preferred partners will have arrangements for formal boning or trust to protect your monies and deposits should you decide to book. Still, we encourage you to check these arrangements directly with the operator.

We are not responsible for any element of financial protection on your booking if you proceed.
We work with some operators based outside of the United Kingdom, and we encourage you to ensure that local protection is provided for any monies paid either as deposits or final payments within the location where the operator is based. You must also take out adequate travel insurance if booking an expedition or small-ship adventure cruise.

6). FEATURED PARTNERS & SHIPS

Although all information displayed on our site about our partners is expected to conform to the appropriate advertising standards, including such material on this site does not constitute a guarantee or endorsement of the quality or value of any partner’s product or services or any claims that they make about standards, sustainability, health and safety and other vital areas. Our site users are advised to verify information with our partners before booking.

We will send you a confirmation of the partner you have been matched to, and we will also email you after your enquiry to ensure that you are happy with the service you have received. This will be an email survey that you do not need to complete.

7). ACCURACY OF INFORMATION ON THE SITE

ExplorEarth does not display pricing; instead, we show budget categories, so you must check the pricing accuracy when you speak to the travel company we connect you with. We seek to display the availability of cabins on our partners' ships, but we cannot guarantee that this is accurate. All the ship and cruise details we display on our site are provided directly by our partners, so we cannot guarantee accuracy. We disclaim all liability concerning such information.

We are not liable for any injury and/or damage to persons or property caused by any actual or alleged libellous statements, infringements of intellectual property or privacy rights, or product liability, whether resulting from negligence or otherwise, including without limitation, from any use or operation of any ideas, instructions, procedures, products, or methods contained in the material published on the site including any copyright infringements.

8). COPYRIGHT POLICY

9). HEALTH ADVICE

Any general health, passport, visa, insurance, Foreign & Commonwealth Office (in the UK) or other travel advice is not intended to be, nor is it to be treated as a substitute for, professional medical advice relative to a specific medical question or condition, or for checking the relevant entry requirements, passport, visa or other travel requirements applicable to the destination that you intend visiting.

Before considering a holiday or travelling, you should seek the operator's and doctor's advice if you have any questions regarding a medical condition or requirements. Your operator may require your doctor’s consent for you to travel, especially if participating in certain optional activities. You will always need to complete a medical questionnaire, which may lead to further questions about your health by the operator. Always check the relevant entry requirements, including but not limited to passport, visa, and health, for the specific destination you intend to travel to in good time before your departure.

Use of this website constitutes acceptance of our terms and conditions and privacy policy.

General Booking Tips †

  1. We recommend booking your own hotels and accommodation for any pre- and post-trips on flexible terms with the accommodation provider in the unlikely event that any delays or cancellations may occur to your cruise.
  2. Some operators still require repatriation insurance, which became important during COVID-19. It is worth checking this with your operator.
  3. Payment via a credit card is recommended as this will usually offer additional financial protection.
  4. If booking a fly cruise to Antarctica (flying to King George Island), check the cancellation terms and conditions with the operator and ensure that a refund is offered for a complete cruise cancellation due to adverse weather.
