Peninsula Fly-In Women’s Expedition on the Sylvia Earle

This special Antarctic expedition voyage is designed for and led by women who share a passion for adventure and exploration. Enjoy the company of like-minded fellow female expeditioners and expedition staff on this friendly and relaxed voyage, whilst creating lasting memories along the way. Voyage aboard the Sylvia Earle, a small expedition vessel named in honour of renowned oceanographer and conservationist, Dr. Sylvia Earle. The ship’s decks celebrate six ground-breaking women in conservation, highlighting their achievements and causes.

Late summer in the Southern Hemisphere is an incredible time to visit Antarctica, with plenty of active wildlife, melting ice, and generally favourable weather. As the days shorten and winter approaches, skuas, terns, and petrels soar against breath-taking sunsets. Discover sheltered bays and wildlife-rich coastlines, perfect for spotting seals lounging on the ice or penguin rookeries. Take the opportunity to stretch your legs on a hike ashore or relax and take in the sights on a zodiac excursion amongst pristine icebergs. Adventurers joining this unique voyage will foster new friendships and unlock new experiences in one of the planet’s most remote and awe-inspiring landscapes.
