  • In Svalbard, push through pack ice, watch for polar bears and ringed seals.
  • Watch arctic fox hunt beneath towering cliffs that are home to enormous colonies of guillemots and fulmars.
  • Zodiac-cruise along vast glacial fronts and into Øfjord as sunset paints the surrounding 2,000-metre (6,562-feet) walls a vibrant pink.

Discover the magic of Svalbard, a land bathed in near-endless daylight, where the sight of a polar bear sends a thrill through your veins, walruses haul out onto the sea ice, and the calls of guillemots echo from towering cliffs. In East Greenland, venture into the vast expanse of Scoresbysund, the world’s largest fjord, and visit Ittoqqortoormiit, one of the most remote Inuit settlements on Earth. Cruise through sparkling icebergs, each one uniquely sculpted into captivating shapes, and wander across tundra alive with vibrant, colourful wildflowers.

Sail through some of the world's largest fjord systems and explore deep fjords and narrow channels, and visit historical sites and cabins of present-day Inuit hunters.

As the ship sails towards the coast of East Greenland, you may encounter whales feeding in the rich waters of the north and be prepared to encounter more pack ice, perhaps spotting seals and a variety of seabirds, including the northern fulmar and Brünnich’s guillemot. In the coming days, a host of choices are available, and depending on ice and weather conditions. The experienced Expedition Team will use their expertise to tailor the itinerary daily.
