  • Sail in the wake of legendary explorers who charted the mythical Northwest Passage, including Roald Amundsen, Robert McClure and John Franklin.
  • Learn about the Inuit, Thorne and Dorset people from our onboard experts.
  • Marvel at ever-shifting Arctic ice, from vast sea ice formations to towering icebergs.

Embark on a mesmerising Arctic journey on this incredible expedition sailing. Departing from Kangerlussuaq, Greenland, this round-trip voyage navigates through Baffin Bay and into the legendary ice-laden waters of the Northwest Passage—one of the most reputed and elusive routes in the history of world exploration. For over 400 years, explorers sought to forge a path through this frozen labyrinth, with Sir John Franklin’s ill-fated 1845 expedition becoming one of the greatest maritime mysteries of all time. Sailing through Nunavut, where Inuit communities have thrived for millennia, this sailing offers a deep connection to both the past and present of Arctic exploration, and conservation.

Throughout your sailing, you'll have the chance to discover remarkable destinations like Sisimiut in Greenland and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ilulissat Icefjord in Disko Bay. As you sail through the Northwest Passage, notable stops might include Radstock Bay and Beechey Island, steeped in exploration history. See icebergs at Buchan Gulf and Peel Sound, and immerse yourself in the rich Inuit culture of Qikiqtarjuaq.

Engage in diverse activities to enhance your Arctic experience. Possible excursions may include kayaking in Kangerlussuaq and Dundas Harbour for an up-close encounter with the region's icy landscapes; scenic expeditions such as the Disko Island Discovery Walk; and zodiac tours at Croker Bay and Elwin Bay to observe spectacular wildlife.
