National Geographic Gemini is a modern expedition ship designed specifically for immersive exploration in the Galápagos, combining contemporary comfort with high expedition and operational standards. Purpose-built for exploration-focused voyages, the ship offers an intimate onboard atmosphere and is operated with a strong emphasis on responsible travel, expert-led exploration and seamless daily operations in one of the world’s most protected ecosystems.

On board, NG Gemini features well-designed public spaces that support both relaxation and learning, allowing guests to reflect on daily discoveries and engage with the expedition team. Carrying a fleet of quick-to-deploy Mark VI Zodiacs, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards, the ship is well-equipped for exploring the islands and marine reserve, enabling close-up wildlife encounters and varied excursions throughout the islands. NG Gemini also provides snorkeling gear for all guests, including shortie wetsuits. The experience is shaped by knowledgeable naturalists and a strong educational focus, ensuring each voyage is both enriching and thoughtfully executed.

Menus are thoughtfully curated to reflect regional flavours while accommodating a range of dietary preferences, ensuring meals are both satisfying and relaxed in an informal, communal setting.

Between excursions, guests come together to enjoy wholesome cuisine in relaxed, social settings. An outdoor café on the Lounge Deck accommodates all guests in a single open seating, as does the restaurant on the Marina Deck, creating a welcoming atmosphere for conversation.
