Hondius is the world's first registered Polar Class 6 vessel, meeting the latest and highest Lloyd's Register standards for ice-strengthened cruise ships. Sustainable exploration

Hondius uses LED lighting, steam heating, biodegradable paints and lubricants, and state-of-the-art energy management systems to minimise fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. This means that when you sail aboard Hondius, you can enjoy the exotic landscapes and wildlife as much as possible, with as little impact as possible.

Comfort and style

M/V Hondius accommodates up to 170 passengers in comfortable staterooms ranging from spacious Grand Suites with balconies to cosy quadruple porthole staterooms designed to suit a variety of preferences. On board, guests have access to a large observation lounge and a dedicated lecture room, perfect for interactive workshops and engaging presentations. With a stylish yet informal mid-century modern décor, the ship offers a warm, relaxed atmosphere ideal for expedition cruising.

Hondius Meal

Dining aboard M/V Hondius is an integral part of the expedition experience. Breakfast and lunch are served buffet style in the ship's main restaurant, offering a wide variety of fresh, quality dishes to suit all tastes. Dinner is served à la carte.
