Antarctic Peninsula Expedition Cruises

The Antarctic Peninsula is the northernmost part of Antarctica's mainland, extending 800 miles from the continent toward the southern tip of South America. It is the most accessible and warmest part of Antarctica, with relatively mild temperatures compared to the rest of the continent. The peninsula is a long, mountainous extension of the Transantarctic Mountains, with peaks rising over 2,800 metres above sea level.

Visitors must follow strict Antarctic Treaty regulations to protect the fragile environment, ensuring minimal human impact on wildlife and ecosystems. These include, but are not limited to, permit-only entry, vessel inspections, scientific research, and environmental protection.
