Maniitsoq

Significance

Often referred to as the "Venice of Greenland" due to its complex system of waterways, Maniitsoq is known for its rugged terrain and rich marine life.

Geography

Located on the west coast of Greenland, the town is surrounded by mountains and islands.

Attractions & Activities

Helicopter tours to the nearby Eemian Ice Core Drilling Project, boat tours for whale watching, and exploring the town's cultural sites, including the Maniitsoq Museum.
