Puerto Natales

Geography

Located in Chile's southern Patagonia, on the shores of Última Esperanza Sound, the city of Puerto Natales is only a short distance southeast of the famous Torres del Paine National Park.

Significance

Known as the entry point for explorers of Torres del Paine, the city is a natural hub for adventure tourism.

Attractions

Extremely well located as a launching point for trips into the Patagonian fjords and glaciers, and the stunning natural beauty and wildlife of Torres del Paine National Park.

Activities

Trekking in the national park; boat tours to the Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers; kayaking and exploring the Mylodon Cave.
